Tarangire to Ndutu & Serengeti – Wildebeest Calving & Big Game

This safari is a great choice for travelers who want to see the Great Migration in the Ndutu region during the calving season, while also exploring the wildlife-rich landscapes of Central Serengeti. From January to February, the southern plains come alive with newborn wildebeest — and plenty of predators nearby. With two nights in both Ndutu and Central Serengeti, this itinerary gives you just the right amount of time in each area. You'll also visit Tarangire National Park, famous for its baobabs and elephants, and the Ngorongoro Crater — a collapsed volcanic caldera that holds one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in all of Africa Bonus: Along the way, you’ll stay in comfortable mid-range lodges and camps, including Awali Camp — the newest addition to our collection! It's a stylish property with only 10 tents and a fantastic location between southern and central Serengeti. It’s a step above typical budget options, offering a more intimate atmosphere and special discounted rates for our guests.
