Budget-Friendly Tour in Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Serengeti

This 5-day safari is timed for one of the most exciting events of the year — the Great Migration passing through Serengeti’s Western Corridor, typically from late May to late June. During this period, herds of wildebeest and zebra attempt to cross the Grumeti River, where crocodiles lie in wait. Your journey begins in Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobabs and large elephant herds, followed by a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater — a UNESCO-listed site rich with wildlife. Then spend one night in Central Serengeti before heading west for two nights in the migration area called Western Corridor. Unlike the crossings on the Mara River in northern Serengeti (July-September), the Grumeti crossings are often less crowded and feel more intimate. The river may be shallower, so the spectacle is less dramatic — but still filled with tension as massive crocodiles lurk in the water. It’s a quieter, more private way to witness the Great Migration, away from the peak-season crowds in the north. Please note: In the migration area, this budget-friendly safari features a stay at 3* Mbalageti Serengeti — a mid-range tented lodge with sweeping views Serengeti. It offers an authentic and simple stay, providing direct access to scenic game drives. Perfect for travelers who prioritize wildlife action over luxury accommodations.
