Big Cats & Serengeti Balloon Safari: 4 Days in Tanzania's Top Parks

Big Cats & Serengeti Balloon Safari: 4 Days in Tanzania's Top Parks safari in Tanzania
1 / 1

This compact safari is perfect for travelers who want to see Tanzania’s iconic wildlife and landscapes in just a few days. Your journey begins in Tarangire National Park, home to ancient baobabs, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife. The next stop is the Ngorongoro Crater — a breathtaking UNESCO Heritage site, packed with lions, rhinos, antelopes, and more. Then it’s time for two days in the Serengeti! One of the highlights is a sunrise hot air balloon safari — a peaceful way to float over the savanna while the light is soft and the animals are just beginning to move. From above, you’ll see parts of the park that cars can’t reach — like hippos slipping into quiet pools before the day warms up. It’s a short trip, but full of unforgettable moments! If you have a bit more time, we recommend adding an extra night in Serengeti — it gives you more time to relax and enjoy this incredible place without rushing.

  • Moshi and Arusha-based accommodations usually include breakfast only, unless requested and agreed otherwise. Please refer to the program to see your meal plans on each night
  • Most safari lodges usually do not include tea, coffee, soft and alcoholic drinks not to have you overpay for beverages you don't need. You will be able to order and pay for drinks at the hotels' restaurants
  • Tented lodges are the most common type of accommodation in savannah. Many of them work on solar energy. This sometimes means bucket showers, limited wi-fi and no hair dryers, all in an effort to reduce environmental impact.
